A Jumble of Things…
Good morning everyone!
I do have to admit it’s been a rough last couple of weeks around here. Way too much going to be able to list it all, but hopefully things will start to sort out here shortly and get back on track. I’m talking both personally and base wise.
For starters, I’m yet again transferring my credits to a new college. The University of Phoenix is definitely a better option than what I’ve been doing through Penn Foster, and UMA still isn’t with the times enough to offer any sort of FULL online courses for any major degree program. It’s kind of sad if you think about it that some colleges don’t offer it yet – but hey, another school is more than welcome to take the money!
We’ve had quite a few command level changes here on base lately, however, the latest round of firings seems to be settled down for the most part and we have some new blood. I hope they find something that works sometime soon because it’s getting confusing around here trying to keep up with who’s who. One wouldn’t think it would be THAT hard to complete a mission that’s been here for over 50 years, but then again, I’m not God so I wouldn’t know for sure…
I just started my second round of my “mock diet” to lose these pesky 20 lbs I’ve put on since getting here, lol. It’s not noticeable, but it’s worth losing I think. I wanna get back to about 145 or so – that’s where I was most comfortable and that’s where I’ll be at once I’m done. So far I’ve taken off about 6 pounds!
Hmm, let’s see here…what else can I talk about…
The weather has been pretty decent around here actually for the most part. The other day we actually hit 75 degrees which isĀ un-heard of this time of the year here. We’ve been around the 40′s and 50′s since then, which isn’t bad at all either. Keep it comin’!
I’m guessing that’s it for now. I’m still hoping and wishing for the best for my friend Courtney. She was in a pretty bad accident the other day and things are finally looking up for her. She’ll pull through, I just wish it was faster instead of slower.
Alright, now I’m done! Later all!
