Bowling for Beer

Today we had another round of squadron bowling. We work about half of the day we were supposed too them we all went bowling. The catch was, our Commander bought beer for the high scorer…but I didn’t get it lol…I finished second, third and then I won one frame for one beer. Oh well, lol.

It’s a short weekend – I get tomorrow off but then I have to work Sunday, and then Monday morning at 6am. Blah!

I called up Jen and Steve tonight and they’re doing well. Hopefully I can find some time to call Jeff this weekend considering I’m working on the day I normally call him.

Nothing Exciting!

Well, today sure was a short day! I got to work, stayed for about 2 hours, then we closed! We didn’t have anymore flights today so there was no sense in staying open for nothing.

I’d like to try not to go another 2 months without writing a lyric like I did this last time. I’ll be starting to brainstorm some ideas for a new one this week and hopefully starting to write over the weekend.

That’s all for now! Nothing exciting!

Eddie Money – Video from Devils Lake, ND 2009

Eddie Money Concert – Update!

WOW! What and AMAZING show Eddie Money gave tonight! I love seeing old favorites perform – it gives a true sense of what our parents were able to experience as they were growing up through the years. The show was energetic, fun, and packed and intimate. It was a small auditorium of about 900 people or so, and I had second row center! I got a lot of  great close-up pictures and video. Here’s some of what I got!

Eddie Money Concert

This is a bit of an unexpected 3-day weekend for me. I had to work last Saturday since I was on-call, so they made up for it by giving me today off instead. Not a bad deal I’d say. I’m kinda just hanging out today. I went and got my hair cut a bit ago. Tomorrow I’ll be leaving for the Eddie Money concert at Spirit Lake. I hope it’s good weather so I can drive too and from with no problems.

The first review of “Contradiction” was posted and it seems to be a nice little success for me. Not bad for taking a month and a half off before writing it…

As far as Sunset Red goes, we have big plans coming. Almost all of the fine details have been decided upon. We’ll soon be creating a seperate blog for the band on WordPress to serve as our site. We’ll have seperate pages within the blog that will be dedicated to Mike and I….one for his blog postings and one for mine as well. It’ll be cool…you just watch! :)

Deli!

I was supposed to go this past Friday to the movies to see the new Friday the 13th, but I ended up talking to a girl online that a dude from work tried to set me up with. We chatted for a good 10 hours or so…exchanged numbers and all that good happy shit. Well, I ended up going to see that movie the next night instead…and it turned out pretty good. I ran into another co-worker while I was there.

So, after the movie got out, I called the girl I met and she told me I should go over to her place for a little while. I was only there for about 45 minutes or so, but then she had to go pick up some friends for the bar…so I booked it back to base. I’m still debating on whether meeting her was a good idea…mainly because neither one of us seemed that interested. Well, actually…she seemed a bit more interested that I was at the time. I don’t know…we’ll see how it turns out I suppose, haha.

Deli Creations – A must have for everyone on planet earth.

Daytona 500

I NEVER miss a Daytona 500…I love it. I crave it.

This year I’ll actually be able to watch most of the Nascar races, which makes me really happy. I grew up watching Nascar with my dad, and last year I never really got a chance to catch any of them while I was training.
