I got back to Minot right on time this afternoon. The flights were a bit rough, but I made it back just fine. SSgt Culpepper met me at the airport to pick me up and bring me back to the base. I stopped by the office and saw a couple of my co-workers there, and then came back to the dorm to un-pack.

SSgt Culpepper told me that my First Sergeant and Squadron Commander will most likely approve my Christmas leave, up to a maximum of 2 weeks. I called her back tonight to tell her what dates I had in mind, then I called my dad to tell him about it. So, I’ll be coming home from December 22nd until January 6th it looks like right now.

Tonight is a quiet night…and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
