Barack Obama and Susan Collins
Most everyone who knows me also knows how much of a dedicated Republican I am. I was very disappointed to see John McCain be defeated by Barack Obama. However, for the most part it was a clean race, and I’m glad John McCain was able to accept his defeat and move on immediately. He gave an outstanding speech, and even seemed to be upset at his crowd when they started to ‘boo’ Obama. He’s classy, but most of all, he knows when to quit. I am more than willing to give Barack Obama every chance to prove himself in office. I am doubtful as far as his inexperience, but he may just prove me wrong, which is what I absolutely hope for down the road. Congratulations to him, however. And also, Congratulations to Senator Susan Collins (R) for her re-election in the State of Maine. I support her and Senator Olympia Snowe (R) fully.

The last couple of days have been busy for me and my dad as far as the planning goes for my mother’s services. Everything is pretty much taken care of now and it’s just a waiting game. So many people have offered a lot to us, and for that we thank everyone!
I’ve been doing really well. I’m still really happy, and that won’t change. I went in to Walmart today and picked up some dog bones, lol. I had to get some socks too, and a couple things for supper tonight. I have nothing planned today that I know of, so it’ll be kinda boring.
