R&R

A little rest and relaxation goes a long way. So, that’s all I did today – relax! I ran to the ATM earlier, but that all I went out for. I ordered a pizza and had it delivered. Then, I watched some football – and all I’m doing now is chatting with a couple of friends online and lounging out still.

I came across some really neat remixes earlier, so I posted one in my new “Music” page.

Later Gators!

Amazing Day in Bismarck!

Today was GREAT! I woke up at about 8:00 this morning and started getting ready for the road trip today. One of my co-workers came up to my room around 8:20 or so and we went down the hallway to get someone…and she was just getting out of bed, lol. We hit the road around 8:45. We hit up the mall first, and we were there for a little while before another co-worker met up with us. We were able to meet her parents for the first time. Her parents had to leave right off though to drive back to Detroit. We stayed at the mall for about 6 hours or so. After the mall, we went over to the Olive Garden for dinner – which was absolutely amazing too! We had so much food…but it was well worth it, for sure. The Olive Garden was packed because this is opening week for that particular restaurant. When we left the Olive Garden, we went to Kohl’s for…more shopping. All in all, I ended up buying the new Halloween re-make (Rob Zombie version), some cologne (after spending about 45 minutes browsing it all), a pillow and a dance mix CD. While we were at the mall, we went into a chocolate specialty store, and they happened to have some chocolate covered strawberries. We were about to leave, and I was like “no…I can’t just leave here without eating one.” So, they agreed to let me buy her one so I could justify buying one for myself… We just got back to Minot around 10:30pm. The rest of the night should be pretty quiet. That’s my day!

Oh…it snowed for a while when we were in Bismarck…and on the way home we saw plenty of vehicles off the road because of it. Slow the fuck down!

Post-Thanksgiving

Well, the turkey did it’s job last night, and I was in bed at about 1:30am…and yes, that’s early for me these days. Today I went and got my haircut, then I went downtown to get some chinese food…then I came back and ate. Tomorrow moning, a bunch of us from the shop are heading to Bismarck for a day of shopping. I think we’ll be leaving around 8:30 or so.

Just for shits and giggles, I’ve been dabbling with Facebook tonight. I really don’t care for it all that much – I think it’s harder to use than Myspace is…but that’s where everyone is these days I guess.

Kyle = down one friend?

The Veronicas – Untouched

Another great song I like…

Happy Thanksgiving

I originally set my alarm for 9am, but kinda dozed on and off until 11am, lol. I did catch a little bit of the Macy’s parade here and there. I finally crawled out of bed and got ready for the day. I went over to my co-worker’s house around 2ish, and stayed until 6pm. We all had a great meal there…and the kids gave me a run for my money!

Jennifer called me earlier, and I called Jeff this evening when I got home. He invited me to Portland with him on the 30th of December for wrestling at the Civic Center. He also invited my dad and I to dinner with him and Darlene the night before on the 29th. And then….on the 31st – :) We all know what that has in store for me…!

I hope everyone has a great rest of the evening!

Tell us something that nobody else knows…

Yesterday, our Airfield Manager called a meeting and wanted us all to share one thing about ourselves that nobody else in the office knew about. So, when they got to me, I told everyone about how I’ve done a bit of modeling in the past. It got quite a reaction. But hey, modeling is fun! Jeff and I seem to always model together, lol…the photo shoot was a lot better than the runway show we did, but I’d do either one again! And, I’m told that I look good in jeans…Sense an ego?

Pre-Thanksgiving

The first batch of reviews are in for my lyric “Somebody Else”. So far they’re all positive!

We only had to be in the office this morning for a few hours. We took our monthly test. I scored a 100%! :) After the test was finished, we went and watched the promotion ceremony of someone who’s in our squadron. He was promoted to Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank you can achieve without becoming an officer. It’s pretty special actually. Then, after the ceremony was finished, we went to the squadron Thanksgiving luncheon. It was pretty packed in there…and the food was good. I stopped by the post office on my way home and got my packages that my dad sent out to me the other day. I just un-packed them all and got everything taken care of. I’m off through Sunday now! Tomorrow I’ll get up to watch the Macy’s parade and then make the rounds as usual. I called Amanda earlier to wish her a great Thanksgiving! But, I’m gonna get going for now! Take care! Happy Thanksgiving!! :)

Toikey iz phun 2 eet!

Today was officially the last full ‘working day’ for this week. Tomorrow morning we have to show up to the office early, then attend someone’s promotion ceremony. After that, we head over to the squadron Thanksgiving luncheon at 11:15am. Thanksgiving day I’ll be at my co-worker’s house for dinner, and then maybe the church dinner as well, depending on time. Friday is payday! Saturday, a bunch of us at the office have plans to carpool down to Bismarck for a day of shopping and hanging out together! We were gonna make the 8-hour trek to Minneapolis for the Mall of America, but that fell through. Bismarck’s the next best thing!

I haven’t gotten any feedback yet on my newest lyric. I’m really curious…

I’m taking a liking to Hinder…

Without You

Short Week

One day down, one day to go! Tomorrow is the only other day I have to work this week. Wednesday we still have to show up to the office in uniform, but then we’re just heading over to the squadron Thanksgiving gathering. Then, on Turkey day, some of us are getting together at my boss’ house for Thanksgiving dinner. My church is doing a get-together also, but that all depends on how hungry I am after eating at her house.

Work went well today though. I swung by the commissary to grab some milk on the way home, then tried to take a nap – and failed miserably at that.

That’s about all for today!
