This could very well be my last post before I leave to go home in 2 days. I’m just about all packed up and ready to go…and damn I’m ready! I have a couple more outprocessing signatures to go get this afternoon and tomorrow, then I’ll be all set to attend my outprocessing briefings tomorrow night and Wednesday morning.

This has been the longest weekend ever…longer than it should have been. I went to the mall a couple of times to kill some time, and played some pool at the V for the last time with my partner De Carolis.

I’ll see some of you this week at Champion’s…so take care and wish me luck that I actually get out of here on time!

I hope everyone had…or is having…a good 4th of July. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be with my friends back home this year to do the parade again…but maybe next year!

Some of us went over to the mall today and spent the afternoon there. It’s a nice mall, although it’s getting kinda old and dark, lol. I found an awesome Aerosmith shirt there at Hot Topic, and I picked up a few new chains and bracelets. I looked for a Justice CD which I never found. I’ve been wanting some of there music ever since seeing them at Madison Square Garden earlier this year. I’ll have to order it online I guess.

By all rights, I should have been at retro night tonight instead of waiting on base to get the hell out of here. It sucks but it’s not too much longer. It just makes for a really long weekend, that’s all.

Tomorrow I may be going back to the mall but who knows. My friend Samantha invited me to Pensacola this weekend and I should have gone now that I look back on it. It’s all good though.

It looks like I’ll be home as I regularly planned on the 9th (Wednesday). I was trying to get out of here tomorrow but since it’s the 4th, no training leaders are going to be around for me to outprocess with. So, I’m stuck here for the weekend. My flight leaves Biloxi at 4:47pm and I should be arriving in Portland around 7:15 or so. My mother and my best friend Jeff will be picking me up from the airport.

I graduated today and got my certificate, coin and badge finally. So, my training is done for the most part until I get to Minot.
