Friends, Apples and Ice Cream!

Hey everyone! It’s been a pretty good weekend for the most part. I was able to hang out with some friends again and do some more catching up. Last night at the Blues Club, I ran into Ashley who I used to work with. She seemed like she was doing pretty good. And, I stayed up until about 3am this morning chatting with an old high school friend, Beth. It’s rare we actually get to talk to each other, so when we do it’s really nice. She owes me an apple…lol…inside joke!

Today, I rode out with my mother to a family friends’ house in Winslow…Pauline Smiley. If anyone has ever been to Smiley’s ice cream, they used to own the business. She was a good friend of my Aunt before she passed away while I was in Basic Training. I came home and had some beef stew for supper. I was hoping to go out and do a Geocache but it’s raining a bit too hard for that right now.
