Hi everyone! I finally got another chance to sit down and type up a new update. Things have been going well for me lately. Mississippi isn’t too bad weather wise so far, as it’s been in the upper 80′s and low 90′s since I arrived. It’s humid but I’m enjoying this kind of weather! My classes are starting on June 2nd and should last for about 5 weeks, then I’ll be heading back to Maine for a 2-3 week vacation. I can’t wait to get back for a little while and do some catching up!

I found out about a week ago that my permanent base will be Minot AFB in North Dakota. I didn’t think it would be possible to go somewhere colder than Maine but it looks like it happened. I’ll be working with B-52 bombers and the base is also home to the 150 underground intercontinental ballistic missiles. Sounds pretty exciting to me but we’ll see when I get there. A girl that I went through basic training with is also going with me to Minot with the same career field as me, so they must need Airfield Managers like crazy.

But, that’s the latest right now. Tonight I should be going to the on-base dance club, which isn’t all that great but it passes the time. Everyone take care and I’ll see you all in a month and a half or so!

Hello all! I just wanted to take some time and tell everyone that I made it through Air Force Basic Training. I graduated yesterday (May 9th) and everything went very well. Monday Morning at 1:00am I am leaving for Mississippi for my Tech training. I hope everyone is doing well, and I’ll be able to stay in touch with everyone again finally. Take care and drop a note on Myspace or something if you want!
